Our new kingfisher hide will be up and running in April, please contact me to pre-book. The kingfishers have nested on site for years and now we are opening up a new hide where you can photograph this charismatic fisherman on one of our lakes. 

 

The lake also gets visits from water voles, little egrets, great white egrets, herons, coots and waterail.
 

Key Features:​

• Customizable Setup: Feel free to bring your own perches and props to personalize your shots. Alternatively, we provide a wide range of perches and natural props on-site, so you can keep your photos fresh and distinctive.

• All-Day Access: The hide is available from Dawn to Dusk, giving you the flexibility to arrive and leave at your convenience throughout the day. Spend as much or as little time as you need to capture that perfect moment.

• You also get access to Billingford Fishing Lakes nature walks, so you can split your time between the hide and some lovely walks to encounter other species like egrets, grebes, woodpeckers and many more.

Equipment:  300mm or longer

Food:  Recommended that you bring some food.
Toilets: Short walk from the hide in a purpose-built toilet. (only 1 visit per session to avoid disturbance)
